Enrollment Procedures

Saint Cecilia School admits students of all races and creeds; however, children of the parish are given first preference for admission.

The registration procedure is outlined for parishioners in the parish bulletin during the summer months. This allows parents and guardians ample time to be informed of the dates for registration in February and August and to gather the information that is needed.

A
student entering kindergarten must be five years of age by September 1 and a student entering first grade must be six years of age by September 1. Parents/guardians are required to present the following documents at registration:

  • State birth certificate
  • Record of immunization
  • Baptismal certificate
  • Social Security number

In addition to the above new students being registered for grades 2-8 are requested to present the following if possible:

  • Transfer slip from the previous school attended
  • Copy of the student’s last report card
  • Standardized testing results
